Job Description

Perform electromechanical repair of equipment with multi-functional use.

• Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time.
• Assures that proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems.
• Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
• Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
• Perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding the internal customers’ requirements.
• Ability to perform welding and metal fabrication duties.
• Follows and promotes on the job safety expectations. (eyes, ears and
• Maintains proper housekeeping expectations.
• Tries out equipment after repair and leaves it and the area in a clean safe condition.
• Train operators on the proper use of equipment.

Qualifications

• Two year technical training degree in two or more of the following pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic circuits, PLC, welding, machining and electro-mechanical trouble shooting or equivalent experience.
• Reading and writing skills are essential. Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence. Ability to process specified instructions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• PLC software experience preferred.
